G'day mayte! Haha this week has been an interesting one!In the beginning of the week we had the washing machine going and the sink started filling up with nasty smelly water! One of the elders in the flat tried to fix it after it had drained.... And it started flooding the kitchen!! Haha so this whole week the washing machine has been used with a 20 foot pole and we haven't been able to use the kitchen sink. My companion has washed dishes in the bathroom a couple times! Haha but it's been fun anyway. We've been working hard through the pouring rain! And it's been great. We saw Brad Wilcox twice this week! The first time was after interviews with the President and the second time was at a multi stake activity! It was great. He gave us missionaries some insight about the gathering of Israel. He was a mission president in Chile (not as great as President Jordan of course! Go ELM!)It was fantastic. Especially because I got a letter from Bishop Meyer! His newsletter mentioned Brother Wilcox haha and so I got him to sign it. He was pretty happy he made it into someone's Christmas newsletter! At the multi stake activity I saw loads of members from my previous areas and it was a great spiritual uplift. Brother Wilcox shared about how his son went Bungee Jumping in New Zealand! They tied the harness pretty tight and he related that to how sometimes we think the commandments bind us too tight but in reality it's freeing us to do so much more. I loved it. I love the gospel! It's the most freeing thing I know. Our mission president's wife in Interviews gave a training on covenants and asked "is it helping me to get back?" because we all just want to return to our father. So that's the most important question! Is it helping me get back... Have a great week! Elder Jespersen in the ELM
