This week is great! Does anybody remember Prince? From Nigeria? In Bedford? Met up with him today!! We've renewed our plans to hang out in California and Nigeria haha and we got to go to Nandos!! My first time ever! It's the best chicken place to go in all of England! So much bomb chicken and it's great if you like spicy.
Anyway. This week has been pretty alright. We've been at it but transfers week always have a weird vibe to them. But it was still good. We got to see a lot of the members during the week. The members are starting to get a lot more involved with us which is always the best because then we get to know them and trust them a lot more to bring them to an investigator.
We also got to do service which was just a blast! And it's been raining like half the week. We played football on Saturday evening with a group of young Muslims and it was one of the funnest games! Probably because I haven't played in ages. But I love getting to see people of other faiths and still having a great relationship even though we differ in belief. I think that's what Christ showed in his example. We still tell the truth we know but we have respect for other people's faith. I believe Elder Oaks really talked about that too in General Conference.
We had a great Sunday evening. We went tracting in the flippin rain and had a good time. We found this really solid girl to talk to about the gospel. Her mother had learned when she was about 9 and couldn't get baptized because of her parents but she still remembered the Elders names who taught her! So we'll be going by to share a great message with them soon and see how much the spirit will touch them. It'll be brilliant.
It's been a good building week. I'm excited for the upcoming weeks. And guess what! Weird mysterious massive zone conference on Thursday! Who knows what'll happen (hint hint: iPads?? Who knows!)
Peace and blessings. It's been real.
