This week has been normal. Haha I'm struggling at thinking of what to talk about! It has been a good week though. We had a work-over with our zone leaders which was absolutely wonderful. I got to go out of my area and work elsewhere and we had a great time testifying to a lot of people. I really felt the spirit in this one appointment that we had and it was mainly due to my testifying. I hadn't realized how much power testimonies can have when given at the right time. I know that the Holy Spirit carried it to the hearers. It was a big testimony builder for me even though it might not have made too much of an effect on the person. So that's something I'm grateful for, power to testify. Another opportunity I got to testify was in an appointment with our investigator! It was a really well planned lesson and the spirit guided the whole thing. It's amazing the way God can direct us when we make a plan. We also had a POSH training meeting for our zone on Saturday which was inspiring. And fun haha we made a hilarious video for our mission president. The main message however was all about testifying. Seems like something I need to learn huh? Haha so that's something I'm working on. Testifying every chance I get. It does a lot for both parties. Loving the summer rain here in England by the way!
Hola amigos! This week has been SICK! Literally, we were pretty ill. It was horrible and boring. But we still did good work. It was a really good first week with Elder Allred! We are the best haha in fact, we even saw each other before the mission!! I was on holiday, cliff jumping and he was there too! Haha we found that out one morning. It was hilarious. Now we're doing good. In fact, we've been meeting a lot of new people and it's so great. I love to be able to try and make friends with everyone on the street! It's really weird but in a way it's fun because you meet a lot more people that'll actually stop! Something great was that I met a great lady from Bolivia. She is so excited to change her life already and we've only met her once! It's amazing how God put her into my path as well. She told us she had been walking and praying for forgiveness and then I said hello to her! And I started talking about God and we just hit it off. It was amazing. She is really prepared to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love that. Stay amazing!Elder Jespersen
Hello everyone!! Sorry I missed last week, we ran out of time! But good news!! I'm still in Whitechapel! It is the best. But I have a new companion! Elder Allred and he's from St George, Utah!!! We've been killing it in Whitechapel! We've gotten a lot of new people to teach since he came and we've made a couple really good friends. It's been great. Except for Sunday... We sang with the youth! A song we never heard or practiced hahaha so that was a good intro to the ward for him! It's great to see how excited he is to work here, I mean it IS London haha so we're having a good time working. Something I've learned this week is that happiness is key. In all things you do, you've gotta be happy. Have a great week! Elder Jespersen
