Hello all. This week has been super hectic. So Tuesday we went into LONDON and got to hear from Elder Dyches of the Second Quroum of the Seventy. It was really cool! He's a great speaker and he shared a lot of really good experiences with us. We ended up spending the whole day there. In the middle of one of his trainings he asked for some people who did well in athletics in high school or who went to the gym. It was a really weird random question.. We were talking about all the energy of your heart. A few elders raised their hands, myself included haha, and he chose this really big elder. Then a lot of people put their hands down when he started looking for another volunteer and he chose me! He called us up, made us take off our suit jackets and then told us we were going to do push ups, sit ups, and jumping jacks. He wasn't going to say how much or for how long but he'd tell us when to switch. Then we went. It was hilarious! We did this in front of almost a hundred other missionaries. We ended up going for about 2 minutes when he had us stop. He then went on to talk about how we had done it with all the energy of our heart and how we have to do that for our missionary work. It was really funny and afterwards a lot of missionaries said I did awesome :P. It stuck with me. (A Seventy made me workout!) The rest of the week was just all over the place. But on Friday we got to have one of our best lessons. It was with our new investigator named Nigel. We met him on the street about a month or two ago and because he thought it was good that we were evangelising he invited us to come round sometime. When we went to his home in a tiny village we got to teach an amazing lesson filled with the spirit. He even said that if the book of Mormon turned out to have some good doctrine different from his church, he would be baptized. It was a brilliant lesson and we'll be going caroling at his church on Thursday haha. He's a great chap and he lives in this posh old post office house. Throughout this week we've been dropping off presents for "Twelve Days of Christmas". One of the members thought it'd be a good thing to help other members know they're cared about so we've been helping them do it anonymously. It's been great fun haha being able to ding dong doorbell ditch :P It's been a pretty satisfying week. 1 Nephi 11:1 - Desire to know, believe you'll receive knowledge, ponder on it.
