This week has been fantastic! Something that I just love is when a week is nice and planned and you have a lot of people you'll be going to see and they're all pretty solid appointments. That all comes with a good weekly planning, something missionaries do every week to evaluate themselves. It's great when they go well like ours did a week ago and we were generously rewarded with not worrying about what would happen in the week! I love it.
We got to do plenty of planned teaching which is always nice. I think teaching is such a great experience because I get to learn so much! I've found that because you participate the most in the discussion you get to learn the most.
Something just crazy we did this week was got a 20oz steak with a member haha. I think my father wouldn't be too happy at the amount of meat we ate but it was so good! And we got to share a fun message around the table.
We also got to have an amazing correlation meeting with our ward mission leader. He is a motivational speaker and gave a spiritual thought about light and darkness before hand. He quoted 'it is not our light but our darkness that most frightens us'. It's so true! We've got a lot of potential and a lot of light that can help and lift others, he invited us to share it and magnify it. It was a good way to look at things. He's a good leader.
On Sunday we got to have the best member present ever. He was full of testimony and followed the spirit so well! It was amazing how the investigator changed.
